This is a DC508 counter for the Tek TM500 series that measures frequency from 10 Hz to 1 GHz. A nine-digit LED Display shows frequency or total events from 0 to 999,999,999.
This unit include option 1, which is a high stability timebase.

The Tektronix DC 508 Counter is designed to operate in TM 500 / TM 5000 series mainframes and measures frequency from 10 Hz to 1 GHz. Separate inputs are used for the 10Hz to 100MHz, and 100MHz to 1GHz. A nine digit display shows frequency or total events from 0 to 999,999,999.
A switch selectable frequency resolution multiplier multiplies the resolution by 100 from 10 Hz to 25 kHz. This allows resolution of 0.01 Hz in 1 sec.
